The Calvin Academy of Music The Calvin Academy of Music is part of the Church Gathered at Calvin, three congregations serving one Lord Jesus Christ. Our purpose and our joy is to offer musical instruction and nurture for children, youth, homeschoolers, and adults of varying skill levels, all within a Christ-centered environment. Lessons are offered year-round, Monday through Friday after school and into the early evening.

Programs Offered The Academy faculty is pleased to offer private, one-on-one instruction in piano, organ, voice, guitar, violin, and most band instruments. Students are encouraged to participate in recitals at the end of the Fall and Spring terms. Faculty All lessons and classes are taught by instructors with college degrees and advanced musical training and/or experience. Students will be placed with instructors who best suit their needs and experience.
Schedule
The Academy offers two 15-week semesters—Fall (August 30 – December 18, 2010) and Spring (January 3 – April 29, 2011), as well as a six-week Summer term (June 6 – July 15, 2011). A 'double' summer term of 12 lessons will also offered (the timeframe is determined by the student and instructor). Tuition is charged by the semester and must be paid in full prior to the first scheduled lesson.
